If you or someone you care about is in crisis and needs immediate support, please call the San Francisco Suicide Lifeline at (415) 781-0500 or text MYLIFE to 741741. Trained and experienced counselors are available FREE of charge 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist. If emergency medical care is needed, call 9-1-1 or go to the emergency room of the nearest hospital.
In honor of Suicide Awareness Month 2020, the Filipino Mental Health Initiative of San Francisco is hosting a call for participation for volume 3 of FMHI-SF's Kapwa Care Mixtape. Community members are invited to submit "Digital Dedications" of hope and healing to someone affected by suicide. We are excited to expand this year's project by producing our first-ever audio mixtape in collaboration with Pinas-born x Frisco raised, multidisciplinary artist, "Mister REY."

Digital Dedications can take the form of song tributes or recorded messages and be made to loved ones who have died by suicide, survivors of loss, self-dedications, and more. Check out past mixtapes below and add them to your Spotify playlist.

Join our fight to de-stigmatize conversations about suicide and mental health in the Filipinx community.
