Languages Spoken: English Affiliations: Filipino Mental Health Initiative; Los Medanos College Camille was part of the founding core members of FMHI-San Francisco in 2010-2011. She is a proud mom of two daughters, multiracial Pinay, and raised in Southern California. Her mother immigrated to the U.S. in 1975 from Tayug, Pangasinan. Camille is passionate about exploring and co-creating spaces of kapwa and healing that is accessible, sustainable, and centered in the Pilipinx experience and ways of being. She also has lived experience supporting a family member managing a mental condition/illness. She holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology from U.C. Berkeley and a Masters degree in Marriage, Family, Child Counseling from SF State with a specialization in College Counseling. Camille is tenured Counseling Faculty at a local community college where she provides academic, career, personal, and crisis counseling, and teaches. |

They currently provide trauma-informed, healing-centered, and equity-promoting support and services to students, staff, and families of Bessie Carmichael Schools/Filipino Education Center. They received their Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Drama Therapy at California Institute of Integral Studies and they currently serve as a core member of Filipino Mental Health Initiative - San Francisco.
