​Born in Quezon City to Zenaida Arquero Castañeda of Sta. Teresita, Cagayan and Balbino Martinez Castañeda, Jr of Ilagan, Isabela. Raised in LA area. Graduated from UC Santa Cruz with BA in History (focus on East Asian Women's History). 

Lived in San Antonio, Texas. Completed MA in Transpersonal Psychology at JFK University, Pleasant Hill. Currently living in San Francisco and working at RAMS for CalWORKS and API Mental Health Collaborative. I work from a post-colonial, spiritual, "Brown Power," strength-based, collective, queer, and feminist perspective. I am assigned to FMHI as the mental health consultant from the RAMS API Mental Health Collaborative.
